Residency Life

On campus there is a young man's residency center (St. Leos) and a lady's residency center (Howard Hall). Both residency centers have just recently been renovated with Howard Hall's project having been completed at the end of the '06 summer and St. Leos in '07.

Rooms are each furnished with a bed, desk, dresser, and closet space, and they are also each individually climate-controlled so students may adjust to their preference. The boy's center houses 80 students, while 40 reside in the girl’s center. In each, the students have access to a kitchen, laundry facility, and lounges. There are three lounges in each of the centers, with only one being available for both boys and girls to gather. In the lounges they are able to have study groups, watch movies, cook food together, or relax and visit.

There are plenty of activities to entertain and keep students busy during the weekends. Campus activities, sporting events, amusement parks, mall trips, museum tours, or other activities are some of the examples of the weekend trips. Along with a variety of attractions in Atchison, our proximity to Kansas City makes it possible to have many more recreational and cultural opportunities for our students.
