Congratulations to the following students on their recent accomplishments:

...to Spark Ma and Kevin Zhang for receiving top place in the K-12 Physical Science Division of the Wamego Science Fair. They received a 2nd place overall and will now participate in the State Science Fair in Wichita on March 26-27!

...to Liane Peterson and Lindsey Palmer who received the Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens last Friday!

...to University of Kansas Honor Students: Anna Hummel, Hawa Kaba, Ji Sook (Jackie) Moc, Sarah Reeves and Doug Wettlaufer. They will be honored at a banquet at the Atchison Conference Center on Wednesday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m!

...and to the new members of the National Honor Society who were inducted on Sunday: Joe Asher, Peter Corrigan, Allison DuLac, Andrea Gosa, Erin Hunninghake, Jenna Hundley, Patrick Klebba, Tony Ni, Lindsey Palmer, Michelle Penning, Brittany Pickman, Jane Pros, Sarah Reeves, Tim Swingle, Katie Wagner, and Stephanie Woods!

Day Student Reminder: Please take care of your lunch balances immediately.

Lunch Policy for underclassmen: Only parents or grandparents may pick up their child and only their child for lunch. Students must return to school by the start of the next period.

Those students needing help preparing for the A.C.T. may see Mr. Purdy in his classroom immediately after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Mr. French in his classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you are driving to school and have not registered your vehicle, stop at the office and do so today.

Uniform reminders: Shorts will not be allowed again until spring. Ladies: tennis shoes are not to be worn with uniform skirts. Socks should be white or navy crews-no peds or tube socks. Tights should be navy or white only. Girls are not to wear sweatpants or pajama bottoms under uniform skirts. No boots with skirts.

Flu Reminder: Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds several times a day. Make sure when you cough you cough into the bend of your elbow and not into the air or on your hands. If you go home sick with a fever, you must be fever-free for 24 hours before you return to school.

Students need to remember to bring your lunch cards to lunch. If you do not have your card, you will go to the end of the line.

No electronics may be used in the classroom or on campus by students from 7:45 am. through 3:15 p.m. Translators are allowed when permitted by teacher.

Remember to turn in your caps with codes and codes from Coca Cola products cases (located on the inside of the case) to the office.
